On their official Facebook page, MSI has shown another preview regarding their upcoming Intel X299 motherboard. So far this is the third teaser showing yet another area of another Intel X299 motherboard. Like the previous model the new one features a completely black color scheme with several RGB LEDs.
According to the image, it looks like this board comes with the standard eight DIMM slots. However since this image doesn’t really reveal anything it’s very hard to say what we can expect from a possible MSI X299 Gaming motherboard. Should it be similar to current model, then we can expect a standard ATX form factor at a reasonable price. Furthermore there should be a few nice features such as a bunch of PCIe 3.0 x16 slots as well as several M.2 slots.
If you are thinking about buying a new PC, which is based on Intel’s X-series chipset, we suggest to wait a few weeks since by then Intel’s X299 will be out. This board from MSI is expected to launch next month along with a new lineup of Intel Core i9 and Core i7 CPUs. At the moment there aren’t any new details but we are sure that other manufacturers will show little previews as well.
