Battlefield V updates Ray Tracing

Up to 50% boost

NVIDIA, Electronic Arts and DICE are collaborating closely to improve the Ray Tracing performance in Battlefield V. The latest update promises a performance increase of up to 50% when using DXR.



Battlefield V has been the first game to support Ray Tracing. According to the green team, users with a RTX 2080Ti will now be able to play at over 60fps at when running 2560x1440 resolution an DXR Raytraced Reflections set to Ultra. If you have a RTX 2080 you should be able to see the same framerates with DXR Raytraced Reflections set to Medium. Last but not least, the RTX 2070 is supposed to achieve 60fps with 1920x1080 resolution and DXR Raytraced Reflections set to Medium.

The next update of Battlefield V is also going to introduce a training range and, a new map for single- and multiplayer matches. The update is going to be available on December 4.
