Be quiet! unveils Silent Base 801

With modular design

A few months ago be quiet! announced their Silent Base 601 case. After having released the mid-tower model, be quiet! is showing the Silent Base 801 big tower, which has been made from SECC steel and aluminium. Compared to the Silent Base 601, the new model offers more space and higher versatility.

The Silent Base 801 measures 539 x 282 x 552mm with a net weight of 11Kg and classifies as a full-tower. The case comes with a simple and sleek design and there are no doors or special air-vents on this model. Everything is kept in a classic and clean way.

On the inside there is enough space for E-ATX motherboard. Cooling wise there is room for two big radiators (360mm) that could be mounted in the front or in the top. There is also enough space for high-end tower coolers, which can measure up to 185mm in height. The internal layout is quite simple and straightforward. You can install up to seven HDDs or fifteen 2.5" SSDs.

The Silent Base 801 should already be available at local retailers for a suggested price of 139 Euro. Inside the bundle you will find three pre-installed Silent Wings 3 fans measuring 140mm in diameter
