With the SuperNOVA G2 1000W, EVGA offers a high end 1000W PSU that achived the 80 Plus gold certification. The manufacturer in this case is Super Flower (OEM) and the price of this thing is around 200 US-Dollar. Furthermore this PSU comes with a nice case and we’re quite curious to see, what this thing can do.
Already from a first glance, we can tell, that the design is based on the Super Flowers Leadex. This particular PSU usually complies with the 80Plus Platinum standard. However it seems like EVGA decided to “only” offer Gold standard in order to keep the price low.
