With dual x16 PCIe bridge chip

The Z390 WS Pro from ASUS is a high-end motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. Compared to the previous model, which goes by the name Z270 WS Pro, we see a similar color scheme but a reworked layout and more connectors. This motherboard is designed for workstation or content creation system, in other words the feature set will be a bit different from what we're seeing on Maximus and Strix series boards.


The 9th generation

It has been a while since Intel released their last X-series processor and the company has decided to jump from the current 7th generation to the upcoming 9th generation. The new processors will deliver several improvements and changes that will suit both for enthusiast and overclocker users.


Between Core i9-9900K and Ryzen 7

During the last days, Intel has published several benchmarks claiming that the upcoming Core i9-9900K was up to 50 percent faster than AMD Ryzen 7 2700X in games. However these Intel-commissioned benchmarks have been called out for their misleading comparisons since the testing conditions were a bit unfair.


Four models

Super Micro has prepared its latest motherboards compatible with Intel Core 9000 series of processors, introducing the SuperO Z390 range. With the SuperO Z390, the company adds server-grade quality built for gamers.


Compatible with upcoming ASUS ROG Maximus motherboards

G.Skill has shared images and specifications on their upcoming TridentZ RGB DC DDR4 memory. With their DC DDR4 memory, G.Skill adds an oversized DDR4 memory module with literally double the capacity. According to the latest information, this memory kit is supposed to be compatible with ASUS upcoming ROG Maximus motherboards and it's not clear if other motherboard manufacturers will add DC compatibility as well.


With triple fan cooler

With the launch of the GeForce RTX series we have seen plenty of custom graphics cards. While at the moment there are mostly custom RTX 2080 and 2080Ti graphics cards with dark color schemes, Gigabyte has unveiled a new model with white painting. The upcoming GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming OC White has been pictured in detail.


Soon available

EVGA today introduces the Z390 Dark, a motherboard that belongs to the high-end series and it's recommended for enthusiast and overclocker users. At the moment this is the second Z390 motherboard from EVGA and we expect to see also the tiny mini-ITX on later stage.


The N7 Z390

NZXT has announced its second motherboard based on Intel chipset. The upcoming model is called N7 Z390 and it features a clean layout, several metal covers and plenty of features. According to latest rumors, this motherboard might be manufactured from ECS like the previous N7 Z370.


Two high power supplies available

A few months ago, Phanteks has unveiled a new series of power supplies made in collaboration with Seasonic. With the Revolt Pro series, the company releases two models with 850W and 1000W ratings. Both units should be available during next month.


SuperNOVA GM series

EVGA has announced that their new SuperNOVA GM SFX power supplies are finally available. The entire line of units has been 80Plus Gold certified and consists of three models with 450W, 550W and 650W ratings.

Judging by the sheer number of rumors that are surfacing today, the release of everything related to Coffee Lake is coming closer. According to latest rumors, we might see new motherboards already next week. ASRock has finally showcased few of the upcoming models that we will see with Intel Z390.

With huge yellow caps

Our friends over at Videocardz have spotted several pictures of one of the upcoming EVGA Z390 motherboards. Unlike the competition, EVGA keeps the things pretty simple without adding big heatsinks or several RGB LEDs. At first glance the motherboard looks pretty similar to the current Z370 FTW.


Gigabyte und MSI

Der kanadische Shop hat irrtümlicherweise eine vollständige Liste von MSI und Gigabyte Z390 Mainboards online gestellt. Gestern begann Microsoft damit sein Windows 10 October Update auszurollen, das einige interessante neue Features mit sich bringt. Leider aber scheint bei einigen Benutzern ein ärgerlicher Bug aufzutreten, wobei die Inhalte gewisser Ordner/Dateien gelöscht werden.


12 Modelle von ASUS zu erwarten

Mit der Coffee Lake-CPU-Generation hat Intel endlich seine ersten Prozessoren mit sechs Kernen und zwölf Threads in den Mainstream-Markt eingeführt. Simultan dazu erschienen auch die damaligen Top-End-Motherboards mit Z370-Chipsatz. In den kommenden Wochen sollten diese nun von neuen Modellen mit Z390-Chipset beerbt werden. Zeitgleich dazu werden auch neue Prozessoren erwartet.


Endlich weniger kryptisch

Die Wi-Fi Alliance, das Konsortium, das über die diversen Wi-Fi-Spezifaktionen entscheidet und diese definiert/verabschiedet, hat sich offensichtlich dazu entschieden die Nomenklatur zu vereinfache. Beispielsweise soll das aktuell 802.11ac neu Wi-Fi 5 und 802.11n Wi-Fi 4 heissen.



Version 1809 ist nun verfügbar

Microsoft hat mit dem Ausrollen des nächsten umfangreichen Updates begonnen, wobei es sich um das Windows 10 October 2018 Update handelt. Dieses bringt zahlreiche Neuerung/Änderungen mit sich, worunter sich beispielsweise die “My Phone App” und eine verbesserte “Timeline” befinden.



Designed for high-end gaming PCs

Einmal mehr findet man bei den Jungs von Videocardz Material zu einem kommenden Z390 Mainboard. Dieses Mal handelt es sich um das MSI MEG Z390 ACE Mainboard, das sozusagen eine günstigere Version des Godlike sein soll. Im Vergleich findet man kein OLED Debug Screen und lediglich ein M.2 Shield.


Mit gehärtetem Glass

Vor nunmehr beinahe zwei Jahren stellte Fractal Design die erste Version des Define S Gehäuses vor. Insofern könnte man sagen, dass es an der Zeit wäre mit dem S2 die nächste Version dieses Gehäuses auf den Markt zu bringen. Mittlerweile ist das Define S2 verfügbar, wobei es in den Farbvarianten “Black”, “Blackout”, “White” und “Gunmetal” erhältlich ist.
